Tennis dominates over Hanover; wins 8-1

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The women's tennis team won convincingly over Hanover on Tuesday, Oct. 13 dominating the entire match for the 8-1 victory.

The Knights swept Hanover in doubles winning 8-5, 8-0, and 9-7. In singles Bellarmine won five matches and only dropped one, Emily Roebker shut out her opponent Aly Ernsberger 6-0, 6-0. Lauren Cotton defeated her opponent, Jen Hurst, 6-1, 6-1.

Sarah Roebker's doubles win tied Elizabeth Bohnert ('09) for third place on the all-time match wins list at Bellarmine with 80.

The women's team hit the courts again Friday Oct. 16 at Morehead State University.
