LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's tennis team lost just one set in a tiebreaker as the host Knights rolled over Hanover College 9-0 in a match at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex this afternoon.
Bellarmine freshmen Hannah Rose Hagan and
Abby Day recorded their first collegiate singles victory, and senior
Sarah Roebker made it two matches in a row that she hasn't surrendered a single game. On the year, Roebker has dropped just two games in singles.
Meanwhile, sophomore
Rebecca Porter ran her combined doubles and singles record to 9-2 this fall. "I was proud of how well we defended our home courts," said Bellarmine Head Coach
John Mican.
Next up for the the Knights is a road trip to Evansville to meet Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Southern Indiana. That match is scheduled for Oct. 10.
