GREENSBURG, PA -- The Bellarmine University field hockey team (9-9) defeated Seton Hill University (6-11) as
Ellen West connected with three goals to help the Knights to a 6-4 victory in Pennsylvania.
Samantha Biedron recorded the first two goals of the game at the third and tenth minutes which were both assisted by
Natalie Perry.
Emily Belshoff snuck in a goal during the 26th minute with an assist from
Ellen West.
Bellarmine outshot the Griffins 12-8 in the first half while Seton Hill flipped that statistic in the second half with a shot advantage of 12-8. Seton Hill held an advantage in penalty corners with 15 compared to Bellarmine's nine.
Katie Lange played all 70 minutes of the game and recorded 11 saves.
The Bellarmine Field Hockey team rounds out their season with a game tomorrow at Indiana University-Pennsylvania. Game time is set for 2 P.M.
