Knights rise four spots to 20th in national poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's soccer team rose four spots to No. 20 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) national poll. The Knights remained third in the Midwest Region.
The No. 20 ranking represents the highest ever national ranking for the Bellarmine women's soccer team, which was established in 1990.
The Knights compiled a regular season record of 12-2-1, (10-2-1 GLVC) to finish in a tie for second in the Great Lakes Valley Conference final standings. Bellarmine will be the 3-seed in the GLVC postseason tournament and will host a first-round game on Sunday, Nov. 1 against Drury. Game time is 1 p.m.
