LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- Ellen West and Emily West, both graduates of Christian Academy of Louisville, were chosen for national field hockey honors on back to back weeks.

With each week during the season, the womensfieldhockey.com staff selects a Rookie-of-the-Week, a Player-of-the-Week and members of the Honor Roll. 

Ellen was named to the national honor on the week of Sept. 21, and Emily was named to the honor roll on the week on Sept. 28. This marks the second time Ellen has earned this national honor. 

So far this season Ellen and Emily have combined for 43 percent (16 of 37) of Bellarmine's goals and 35 percent (8 of 23) of the teams assists. 

The Knights will be on the field again at Seton Hill next Monday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. Bellarmine will host senior night at their next home game, which will be on Oct. 22 against Centre College. The ball will begin rolling at 6:30 p.m.
