Hopkins and Barraclough voted to Daktronics All Region Team

Daktronics announced today that juniors Ross Hopkins and Bradley Barraclough were voted to the Daktronics NCAA Div. II All Midwest region team. Hopkins was selected to the 1st Team while Barraclough was voted to the 2nd team.

Hopkins  played and started in all 18 games for the Knights this season. The junior led the team this year in points (30), goals (11), assists (8) and game winning goals with four. He was second on the team in shots on goal percentage (.565) total shots with 62 in 18 games.

Barraclough started and played in 16 games this season, missing two due to injury. He was second on the team in points (21), goals (10), game winning goals (3), and shot on goal percentage (.576).  The junior led the Knights with 66 total shots and 38 shots on goal.

The All-Region team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors (CoSIDA), with voting powered by ATHLETICSITE.COM

Members of the Midwest Region first team are eligible for the 2009 Daktronics Division II All-America men's soccer team, to be announced Tuesday, Dec. 1.
