Bellarmine cuts down Mighty Oaks 91-72

OAKLAND CITY, Ind.—All 11 players who are active on the Bellarmine University roster hit the scoring column as the Knights scored a 91-72 road win over Oakland City University in an NCAA Div. II women's basketball contest tonight.

The Knights, now 6-1 on the season, were led by senior forward Brittany Edelen with 22 points, and sophomore Kylie Brady poured in 20 from her point guard position.  Bellarmine got another strong performance from Jalissa Chatlos, as the freshman forward recorded a double double with 12 points and a career high 12 rebounds.

Kristi McVey scored a game high 24 points to lead the Mighty Oaks, who fell to 2-6 on the season.

The Knights are back in action Monday and Tuesday as they host the United Electric Holiday Tournament, which features Bellarmine, Edinboro University, Merrimack College and Queens College.
