CINCINNATI, Ohio--Bellarmine's Jordan Parayil finished fifth overall in the Queen City Invitational cross country meet in Cincinnati to lead Bellarmine to a fourth place finish in the nine team field.

Parayil clocked a five kilometer time of 15:44 to lead all 14 Bellarmine runners competing as the Knights trailed only Division I schools Xavier and Cincinnati and Cedarville in the team competition.

Other top runners for the Knights included Alex Jones (16:07) and Guy Vandermosten (16:08), who finished 12th  and 13th.

Bellarmine's next meet is Sept. 18 at the National Catholic Meet in South Bend, Ind.
