LOUISVILLE, Ky—Bryan Ratterman takes home the trophy at the Transy Fall Invitational this past weekend at the University Club's Big Blue course. Freshman Ratterman playing in his second tournament as a collegian shot a two day total of 144 (71, 73). He had an even par finish to win the title.
The team ended the tournament in third place with a total of 602 (+26) for the tournament. The team shot an outstanding 296 (+8) on the first day to take the lead by five shots. The next day they struggled to a 306 (+18) to drop back to third place overall behind Rhodes College and Centre College.
Also finishing in the top ten was freshman David Shearn with a total 149 (+5) shooting 72,77 respectfully.
The Men's golf team tees it up again on Sept. 14-15 at Wasioto Winds Golf Club in Pineville, Ky for the Wasioto Winds Fall Invitational.
