PINEVILLE, Ky.—The Bellarmine men's golf team finished in 8th place at the Wasioto Winds Winds Fall Kick-Off Tournament hosted by Morehead State on Sept. 14-15. The fall invitational was a 54-hole stroke play event.
Following his great tournament against NKU at Cherry Blossom where he was co-medalist, senior Doug Wilkinson (Louisville) had another solid tournament at Wasioto. His 72,78,70 rounds totaled 220 (+6) for a 16th place finish at the Pineville course in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Another top finisher was Bryan Ratterman (Louisville), who had round totals of 77,70, and 76 to tie for 25th at 223 (+9).
The Knights tee it up again for the Great Lakes Region Invitational at Hawkshead Golf Course in South Haven, Mich. The dates for this tournament will be on Sept. 20-21.
