LOUISVILLE, Ky – The Bellarmine University lacrosse team has announced their 2010 schedule will be a 15-game campaign including seven conference games as new members of 8-team Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).

Bellarmine opens on the road against Detroit Mercy on Feb. 6—the first date any NCAA Division I lacrosse team plays. After another road game at Jacksonville, the Knights will have their home opener on Feb. 20 against two-time national champion Maryland.  Game time is noon.

The 7-game ECAC schedule features home games against Loyola University Maryland, Fairfield and Hobart. The ECAC road schedule sends the Knights to face Denver, Air Force, Quinnipiac and Ohio State.
