KANSAS CITY, Mo.--The Bellarmine University men's soccer team got a narrow 1-0 road victory this afternoon over Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Rockhurst University.

Bradley Barraclough (Lincoln, England, Lincoln College ) headed in a cross from
Ross Hopkins (Skerries, Ireland, Colaiste Ide College ) in the 55th minute to provide the game's only goal. It was Barraclough's 11th goal of the season, which is tops in the conference.
Bellarmine outshot the hosts 12-8 on the afternoon including a 7-2 advantage in shots on goal. Bellarmine goalkeeper
Matthew Soyka (Racine, Wisc., Case) recorded just two saves but picked up his fourth shutout of the season. Rockhurst keeper Kyle Clawson recorded six saves but was saddled with the loss.
The Knights improve to 7-4-1, 5-4-1 GLVC, and the Hawks slip to 6-3-2, 5-3-2 GLVC.
Bellarmine returns home to Owsley B. Frazier Stadium on Friday when they will face Maryville at 6:30 p.m. The Knights' final home game of the season will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. against Missouri S&T.
