WILBERFORCE, Ohio--Bellarmine freshman
Kylee Hamilton poured in a career high 25 points as the Knights rolled past the host Central State Marauders 106-79 in a non-conference NCAA Division II women's basketball game.
Hamilton, who hit on all five of her 3-point attempts, led five Bellarmine players who posted double digits in the win.
The Knights scorched the nets in the first half, shooting 72.4 percent in opening up a 57-39 halftime lead. Bellarmine was nine for 12 from 3-point range in the first half.
After the intermission, Bellarmine pounded the ball inside--taking and hitting just one trey--as the Knights continued their hot shooting and coasted to the 27-point victory.
For the game, Bellarmine shot a blistering 66.1 percent (37-56) from the field and was an incredible 10-13 from beyond the arc. Defensively, the Knights held Central State to just 43.9 percent shooting and the Marauders were held scoreless from 3-point range.
Joining Hamilton in double figures for the Knights were

Therese Montano (11).
Central State (5-5) was led by Brooklyn Morrow, who tied Hamilton for game high honors with 25.
The Knights, who improved to 5-3, now fly to Laredo, Texas, where they'll compete in the Dustdevil Holiday Classic on Friday and Saturday.
