Bellarmine's women's tennis team scored its second victory of the weekend by defeating Centre College 8-1 this afternoon at Bellarmine's Eddie Weber Tennis Complex. The Knights improve to 6-2 on the season while the Colonels fall to 0-2.
"This was another great team win especially considering the arduous match we finished just 17 hours earlier," Bellarmine Coach John Mican said. "We came out strong in doubles and continued the momentum in the singles. The Centre squad fought hard to the very end and made us hit a lot of shots to earn this win."
