BEAVERTON, Ore.--The Women's Division II Bulletin announced its 2010 All-America Basketball Team today, and Bellarmine's Jalissa Chatolos was named to the 10-member "All Freshman Team."
The North Central (Indianapolis) High School graduate was a major force for the Knights both offensively and defensively and averaged 9.5 points and 8.6 rebounds a contest. She led the team in double-doubles with five this season and also led the team in steals with 35.
Chatlos led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in defensive rebounds and was third in the league in total rebounds. At the conclusion of the regular season, GLVC coaches voted Chatlos "Freshman of the Year."
