LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's tennis team ran its record to 10-2 on the season with a 6-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over Missouri-St. Louis this afternoon at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

After taking a 2-1 lead in doubles, the Knights swept the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 singles matches to ice the victory.  Bellarmine also picked up a win at No. 6 singles to make the final 6-3.

Bellarmine No. 1 Rebecca Porter, No. 2 Sarah Roebker, and  No. 3 Emily Roebker all notched wins in both singles and double to lead the Knights, and Keyly Knechtel scored a 7-6, 6-2 win at the No. 6 spot.

The Knights--off to one of the best starts in school history--await the new rankings that come out tomorrow to see if they can make their first appearance in the top eight of the region.

Bellarmine hits the courts next on Saturday when they travel to Owensboro to take on Kentucky Wesleyan.
