INDIANAPOLIS—The Bellarmine men's tennis team scored a convincing 9-0 victory today at the University of Indianapolis to clinch a berth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship. Entering the contest, both squads were 1-3 in divisional conference play so the winner of the match would likely earn the GLVC East's No. 4 seed in the upcoming championship.
The Knights lost just one set (in a tiebreaker) in recording the shutout victory and upping their season record to 7-5. The Greyhounds fall to 7-10 and are eliminated from a spot in the conference tourney.
