LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's soccer team got a goal less than a minute into the second half and posted a 1-0 victory over Great Lakes Valley Conference foe University of Indianapolis today at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.

The Knights' Danielle Kamenec (Rochester Hills, Mich., Marian) rocketed a shot from about 15 yards into the lower right corner of the net to provide all the offense Bellarmine needed on the day.  

Bellarmine controlled the game most of the afternoon as the Knights outshot the Greyhounds 20-3 and owned a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks. 

With the win, Bellarmine improves to 4-2 with a 3-1 GLVC mark.  Indianapolis falls to 0-5-1, 0-4-1 GLVC.

The Knights hit the road this week and will play Lewis on Friday and at Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday.
