DANVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's golf team fired a team score of 321 to finish second behind the host school at the Centre Fall Invitational played Saturday at Danville Country Club.
Six of the seven Bellarmine players in the field finished among the top 20 in the 40-player field. The Knights were led by
Maggie Schad, who posted a 4-over par 77 to finish tied for third overall.
One shot back was freshman
Angela Pugliano, who posted her first sub-80 round as a collegian.
Centre's Emily Bachert took medalist honors with a 2-over-par 75.
The Knights conclude their fall campaign this weekend at the Pat Clouse Invitational, which is hosted by Wittenberg College at Windy Knolls Golf Course in Springfield, Ohio. The 36-hole, 2-day event tees off on Saturday, Oct. 25.
