LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's tennis team swept the doubles portion of their match with Georgetown College on Friday and breezed to an 8-1 victory. The win ups Bellarmine's season mark to 3-1.

"Winning all three doubles matches made the team relax in the singles," said Bellarmine Coach John Mican.

The Knights got two wins apiece from Rebecca Porter, Emily Roebker, Hannah-Rose Hagan and Jamie Claeys.  Freshman Kelly Hollingsworth won her second consecutive singles match--dropping just one game in the last three sets. "Kelly has really been working hard on all aspects of her game and it is really paying off," Mican said.

Abby Day and Abigail Dorton also continued their winning ways at doubles winning their second match in a row.

Bellarmine is back in action on Sunday with a trip to Missouri-St. Louis.
