LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University women's tennis team split their weekend matches in Indiana in the squad's final two nonconference matchups of the season.

Ashland 7, Bellarmine 2
Hoosier native Jamie Claeys teamed with Emily Roebker to defeat Corinne Pasley and Alex Ware 8-6 in doubles play, but the Knights fell to sixth-ranked Ashland University 7-2 on Friday at the University of Indianapolis.
The indoor setting also saw Rebecca Porter defeat Torrie Goudie 6-0, 6-3, for Bellarmine's lone singles victory of the match.
Bellarmine 6, Marian 3
The Knights picked up the pace in Saturday morning's match as the squad captured five of the six singles matches, highlighted by Roebker 's three-set victory over Lauren Paras 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.
Porter dispatched Dana Reynolds 6-1, 6-1, and teamed with Hannah-Rose Hagan to defeat Marian's top doubles team of Paras and Olivia Pursell 8-4. For the weekend, Porter and Claeys each won three matches in their four outings.
Bellarmine (11-3, 1-0) returns to the court on Saturday, continuing Great Lakes Valley Conference play at the University of Southern Indiana. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Evansville.
