WATERLOO, Ill.--The Bellarmine women's golf team shot their low round of the year, but the Knights still slipped a couple of spots to finish sixth in the 12-team Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship played today and yesterday at Annbriar Golf Club in Waterloo, Ill.

Bellarmine sophomore Maggie Schad backed up yesterday's career-low 75 with a 74 to finish tied for second as an individual, two shots behind medalist Shwete Galande of Missouri St.-Louis. With her top five finish, Schad automatically earns All-GLVC honors this year.

Southern Indiana took the team title with a 36-hole total of 614, coming from eight shots off the pace to clip Missouri-St. Louis by four shots.

Bellarmine senior Jessica Storch shook off yesterday's tough putting performance and fired a final round 75 to tie for 15th with a 36-hole total of 158. Other Bellarmine scores included Leah Pehlke (163), Jennifer Rechtin (172), and Allison Dooley (176).
