LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Bellarmine University junior Anton Rabinov was ranked No. 2 in the Midwest Region in the latest ITA rankings, making him the highest ranked tennis player in Bellarmine history.

Rabinov completed a stellar fall campaign winning 10 of 11 singles matches including two singles tournament titles.  His only singles loss came in the championship match of the ITA Midwest regional tournament.  In addtion to his success in singles, Rabinov  partnered with Igal Mostkov to win the Centre College Invitational Tournament  number one doubles flight .

"This is a great individual honor for Anton," said Bellarmine Coach John Mican, "but as a captain, I'm sure he would be the first to tell you that we must now focus all our attention on the team improving as we look forward to dual match competition in the spring."
