Bryan Ratterman led the Knights with a 218 (+2) final score and just missed qualifying for the national championship as an individual by two shots.

Knights close with a 295 in Super Regional; finish 12th

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.—The Bellarmine University golf team shot its best round of the tournament (295), but could improve only one spot and finished 12th in the NCAA Midwest/South Central Super Regional played May7-9 at the Jefferson City Country Club.

The Knights' 54-hole total of 898 (296-307-295) placed them 34 shots behind team champion Central Missouri, which finished even par at 864—12 shots clear of the rest of the field.  The top five finishers advance to the NCAA Division II National Championship, which will be hosted by Bellarmine University at the Cardinal Club May 15-19.

In addition to Central Missouri, other teams advancing include: Washburn University (876), Central Oklahoma (877), Indianapolis (880), and St. Edward's (884).  Two individuals not on advancing teams also will move on to the national championship with Kyle Wittenbach (Ferris State) and Trey Lawson (Cameron) earning that honor by tying for fourth overall with even par totals of 216.

Bellarmine was led by Bryan Ratterman, who finished tied for 10th overall with a final score of 218 (72-73-73).  Other Bellarmine scores included David Shearn 224 (76-74-74), Alex Foley 225 (74-78-73), Ryan Glass 234 (75-82-77), and Patrick Sullivan 236 (75-86-75).
