GREENCASTLE, Ind.--The Bellarmine Knights women's tennis team successfully competed at the Depauw Fall Invitational Tournament this past weekend.
Highlights of the weekend included the newest members of the squad,
Caitlin Hanley and
Michelle McFerran, earning their first collegiate victories. Hanley went 1-1 at the number one singles spot and teamed with
Evann Waschuk to go 2-1 at the number one doubles position. Michelle was 2-1 at number two singles and went 1-1 in doubles. Waschuk had a combined 4-1 record on the weekend while senior
Hannah-Rose Hagan was 3-1.
"All in all I'd say the tournament was a great success," said Bellarmine Coach
John Mican. "There are many areas we can improve on, but the fight and determination was very evident."
