NEW ALBNAY, Ind.--A day after hosting their first dual match, the Bellarmine University women's tennis team made the short trip to Indiana University Southeast to play their first road match of the year, coming away with a convincing 9-0 victory.
The Knights didn't drop a set in recording the victory, which evens their record at 1-1. The most lopsided victory6 for the Kngihts came at No. 4 singles where
Kelly Hollingsworth dropped just one game in posting a 6-1, 6-0 win.
Four different players helped earn two points for the Knights: Hollingsworth,
Hannah-Rose Hagan,
Evann Waschuk, and
Michelle McFerran.
Elizabeth Crush and
Abby Dorton played singles only while
Caitlin Hanley and
Jamie Claeys competed only in doubles.
