LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Bellarmine Knights baseball team has been busy this offseason helping out in the surronding community. The Knights held a home run derby on Oct. 27th with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, then helped clean up and restore one of the oldest youth ball parks in the city in the Opti Park.

During the home run derby, the Knights collected almost $500 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to kids and adults suffering from terminal diseases.

The Knights then gave the Opti Park a much needed facelift, including building a bullpen area, painting fences and bleachers, general field work, and cleaned up the area around thepark.
