LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- In their first project of the 2012-13 year, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) cleaned up the neighborhood surrounding Bellarmine with the help of Operation Brightside.
 
Members of all 21 of Bellarmine's athletic teams cleaned up trash and leaves in an effort to make the Highlands a better place.
 
The SAAC is comprised of student-athletes from each of Bellarmine's 21 athletic and spirit teams with a goal of looking for  at ways to help their fellow athletes as well as the community around them.
