LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Bellarmine University men's tennis team closed out its regular season with a 7-2 home loss to the Lewis Flyers today in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at the Eddie Weber Tennis Center.

The visiting Flyers took command early by winning all three doubles matches, and secured the team victory with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles.

Bellarmine's Igal Mostkov earned the Knights' first point of the day with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Erik Aunapuu in the No. 2 singles match.  Freshman Nathan Walroth pulled out the second Bellarmine point at No. 6 singles when we won the super tie-break 10-6 after he and Philip Kuenzi split the opening sets.

Prior to the match, senior day activities honored Carlos Antonioli, Chris Cotton, Jacob Knagenhjelm and Bryan Skaggs.

The Knights finish the regular season 13-9, which ties a school record for most wins in a season.

Bellarmine now moves to the GLVC Championship, most likely as the No. 4 seed from the East, meaning they would open with Drury, the No. 1 seed from the West.
