LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University women's tennis team lost to a GLVC foe for the first time this season on Saturday against Indianapolis 7-2.

The Knights had a tough day, only able to win matches in second doubles and third doubles. Caitlin Hanley, Michelle McFerran, Hannah Hagan and Abby Dorton were all able to push their competitors into a third set but all fell short of the victory.

Coach John Mican said of the match, “It was a tough day all around but the team will be ready to bounce back and get the win tomorrow against another quality opponent.”

After the loss Bellarmine now falls to 12-6 (4-1 GLVC). The Knights will take the court again on Sunday Apr. 7 in a match against the University of West Alabama.
