LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Playing a match for the third consecutive day, the Bellarmine University men's tennis team lost 6-3 to the No. 37 West Alabama Tigers in a non-conference match at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Anton Rabinov continues to lead the Knights as he won both his singles and doubles matches today. The two wins give him six this weekend, giving him a team-leading 39 wins on the year.
"To put it simply, Anton is an amazing tennis player and a gifted athlete," said Bellarmine Coach
John Mican. "We are lucky to have him representing Bellarmine with the class and sportsmanship he exhibits at all times while competing with such heart and determination."
Jacob Knagenhjelm won his 14th singles match on the year and
Igal Mostkov battled hard in a three set thriller but came up just short in the third set tie breaker.
