Women's tennis drops 5-4 decision to West Alabama

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University women's tennis team battled hard in their third straight day of tennis, but came up just short, falling 5-4 to West Alabama in a home match at the Eddie Weber Tennis Tennis Complex on campus.

The Knights secured just one of the doubles matches and lost two singles matches in three sets.

"I'm proud of the effort our women put forth today and all week end," said Bellarmine Tennis Coach John Mican.
 
Senior Hannah-Rose Hagan moved into fifth place on the all-time wins list with her 94th and 95th wins passing Maria Hornung (08) who finished her career with 94 total wins. 

Hagan's doubles partner, Evann Waschuk also picked up two wins today giving her 29 wins on the season while freshman Michelle McFerran won at number 3 singles giving her 30  wins for the season.
