Crutcher, Grana earn accolades from ABCA

The American Baseball Coaches Association announced the Rawlings 2013 All Midwest Region Team, and Bellarmine's Austin Crutcher and Kyle Grana each earned 2nd Team honors.

Crutcher, a center fielder from Lexington, Ky., led the Knights during the 2013 season wih a .350 batting average and led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in stolen bases with 24.  Earlier this year, he was voted to the All-GLVC first team and earned conference “Player of the Week” honors.
 
Grana, a hard-throwing righted pitcher from Wildwood, Mo., was Bellarmine's top starting pitcher with a record of 6-2 and a earned run average of just 2.60.  He led the league in strikeouts and was the toughest to hit against with opponents batting just .183 off Grana this season.  He was a 1st Team All-GLVC performer, and was among national leaders in strikeouts per nine innings pitched.
