The Bellarmine University field hockey team volunteered at the Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. warehouse in Louisville for its SAAC Challenge project. According to its website, KRM is a non-profit organization "dedicated to providing resettlement services to refugees through faith- and agency-based co-sponsorship in order to promote self-sufficiency and successful integration into our community." The Knights helped to create packages for incoming refugees, and they organized donated furniture for the warehouse. Said sophomore goalkeeper and SAAC President Alex Moro: "The whole morning was an unforgettable experience, and we look forward to helping out at the KRM Refugee warehouse again in the near future."
