LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As part of its SAAC Challenge project, the Bellarmine University men's soccer team hosted a free youth clinic Monday night at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.
After concluding their spring season this past weekend at IUPUI, the Knights took time out of their schedule to provide instruction in a variety of different skills for members of the Louisville Soccer Association (LSA).
SAAC representatives
Jared Kemper and
Joey Stoltz were joined by their teammates to organize and conduct the clinic for over 100 participants from LSA.
"As a program, we enjoy giving back to the local soccer community any way that we can," Stoltz said. "I began my youth soccer career with LSA, so it was very humbling to be able to give back to my old club. All of the kids battled the rain, and made it a very enjoyable learning experience for everyone!"
