LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As part of it SAAC Project, the Bellarmine University baseball team assisted in the setup for Hats for Hope.
The annual fundraiser benefits the M. Krista Loyd Resource Center at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in Louisville.
"Their manners, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and work ethic are such a reminder of what I have always found to be typical of baseball culture," Ann Mudge, the Chair for Hats for Hope, wrote in a letter of thanks to the team. "Bellarmine University should be, as I know you are, very proud to be represented by them. Thank you so much for sharing them with us."
