On Aug. 26, members of the Bellarmine University softball team volunteered their time to help the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as part of their SAAC service project.

The NFCA had a large and very important mail order they needed to fulfill. The mail order consisted of magazines and other significant information for the upcoming NFCA National Convention. This convention is held every year and is a place for coaches all around the country to learn, network and discuss the sport of softball.

The members of the softball team worked diligently filling envelopes with the necessary information. Overall, with the combined work of the NFCA employees and the Bellarmine softball team, a total of 4,000 envelopes were filled.

After the entire mail order was complete, the softball team extended its assistance by transporting several heavy boxes, which contained all of the envelopes.
