LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University tennis teams put together a coed intrasquad tournament where the participants collected money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The participants were split into two teams, Team Marissa and Team Mairin, and they competed against each other for who could win the most matches and ultimately win the "
John Mican Cup".
The tournament was divided into two rounds of five matches, playing a pro set for each match. It was a close battle but Team Marissa came out on top.
"The '
John Mican Cup' is a great team-bonding experience for both tennis teams, and it was even better that we were able to contribute to the Make-A-Wish Foundation while having a fun time," junior
Marissa Kovach said.
