LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Bellarmine University lacrosse team will open its regular season on Saturday, Feb. 13 with a 1 p.m. home game against Robert Morris University.  Interestingly, the Knights and Colonials squared off last Feb. 13 as well with Bellarmine scoring a 13-10 victory in Moon Township, Pa.

Bellarmine, which started its lacrosse program in 2005, has played RMU every year except one, and the Knights own a 7-3 lead in the series.

The Colonials already have one game in the books in the 2016 season, falling to the Nittany Lions of Penn State 20-7 this past Saturday in State College, Pa.
