SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Bellarmine University women's tennis team was eliminated in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament semifinals after a 0-5 loss to Missouri-St. Louis at the Cooper Tennis Complex.

Bellarmine (21-3), the East Division's No. 1 seed, had previously beaten Missouri-St. Louis (14-4), the West's No. 2 seed, 6-3 in the regular season.

UMSL got a measure of revenge after sweeping doubles play and clinching the team victory with wins at Nos. 4 and 6 singles.

Bellarmine entered the GLVC Tournament ranked third in the Midwest Region and is expected to receive a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
