Knights men's soccer volunteers at Oldham Soccer Club

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University men's soccer team volunteered recently at the Oldham Soccer Club.

The Oldham Soccer Club youngsters aged 7, 8 and 9 showcased their skills in numerous drills and games which included the Bellarmine players. The players took the time out of their day to help the youngsters improve their skills and show them what they could be in the future.

The players helped out in numerous drills such as 1v1s, finishing and possession-based games. At the end of the session, the players joined in a scrimmage with the youngsters from OSC. All in all, it was a fantastic experience for the players at Oldham Soccer Club.

"The Bellarmine players were fantastic with the kids, they showed real energy and we really appreciated them coming out to the club," OSC Academy Director Joe Jessop said. "The young players loved having the guys there and interacting with college players."
