LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University swimming teams volunteered recently at the Park Community Credit Union 2018 Special Needs Trunk or Treat.

All individuals with special needs and their families were invited. The Knights provided candy and games for all participants.

"The team was so grateful to be a part of this event and help contribute to the community," junior Alexandra Scott said. "The best part of this event was interacting with the kids. They were so excited to be dressed up and go through all the different activities. We had a ring toss with us and all the kids played it and loved how we would cheer for them while they played. We definitely used the cheering skills we got from our sport! It was a great experience for the team and hopefully the kids as well.

"The team at Park Community was so appreciative, helpful and kind during the whole event. We were able to speak with some employees and help represent Bellarmine in the best light. We hope to be invited to be a part of this again."
