LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's basketball team assisted recently at the Kosair Kids Holiday Party at the Crowne Plaza.

The Knights oversaw a bracelet-making station and a snowball game.

"This experience was full of happiness and laughter the entire three hours," junior guard Katie Downey said. "The children were a blast to meet and work with as they were all excited for Christmas and seeing Santa Claus during this time.

"Kosair, Park Community and other workers at Crowne Plaza made sure to thank our team for taking the time to help make this event even more special. We had so many great interactions with people within the community. Our team even offered to help out with another Kosair event in the upcoming weeks that we are all very excited about. This Holiday Party was an amazing environment and a remarkable experience for everyone involved. We will definitely come back again for it next year!"
