Men's golf participates in dance marathon fundraising effort for Norton Children’s Hospital

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine men's golf team participated recently in the Bellarmine University Dance Marathon benefiting Norton Children's Hospital.

According to senior golfer and SAAC rep James Inman, the dance marathon was conducted by an executive board full of students, faculty and representatives from Norton Children's Hospital.

"It was powerful to hear the testimonies of the kids and their families that have had significant trauma from an early age," Inman said. "The stories of their fights reminded us of why we want to help them and kids who need help in the future. The event was a blast. We were able to donate more than $26,000 to the kids over in the Jennifer Lawrence Cardiac ICU at Norton Children's Hospital. This project was much bigger than us, and I think that is what made it so special."
