LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's basketball team on Monday helped Christmas shop for kids at Norton Children's Hospital.
Teaming with staff from Park Community Credit Union and Norton's, the Knights were assigned Christmas lists and found the desired items in a shopping trip to Target.
"This event was very special, as each player was able to pick out unique items they hope each kid will love," SAAC rep and junior guard
Katie Downey said. "Our team enjoyed the time we spent at Target because we were able to give back to those in need. Park Community and Norton's staff were working alongside the players to make sure they found everything they needed. This event was a very good experience for each player involved. We hope that every kid has a very Merry Christmas this year and enjoys the gifts we picked out for them!"
