LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Members of the Bellarmine University baseball team collaborated recently with the Bellarmine Food Recovery Network to deliver food to Volunteers of America and Wayside Christian Mission. The Knights helped recover the food from Cafe Ogle and from UDH on campus.
"The Food Recovery Network truly does amazing work on campus and oftentimes gets overlooked," senior catcher
Chris Gambert said. "It was an amazing opportunity not only to help out and work with them, but also to give back to the community the same way they do. It was a great opportunity for our team to help deliver some food to people who need it the most. We are so grateful that the Food Recovery Network allowed us to help out."
