At the clinic, you will learn a routine that incorporates jazz, hip hop, and pom. We will review turns, leaps and jumps.
**CLINIC PART 2 Saturday May 18th: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM:**
We will review what was taught Friday and finish learning the routine. We will also review our Fight Song, a short pom dittie. Casual interviews will also be held during the clinic and will count as part of your tryout score.
**TRYOUTS Saturday May 18th:**
Tryouts begin at 2pm at Hilary's
Dancers will tryout two at a time. You will perform several things during your tryout, listed below. Dancers will receive their tryout order at the clinic.
We may bring in outside judges to help judge the tryout. We will select dancers for the team based on tryout scores. There is no set number of dancers that we must have each year. We select dancers based on scores, and where the break in scores falls. On average, we have 12-14 members each year, but will take more or less depending on talent.
****Scheduling Conflicts****
We understand scheduling conflicts may arise with high school proms, dance competitions, etc. If you cannot attend part or all of tryouts, please contact a coach to discuss a video audition
All dancers trying out must completely following paperwork IN ADVANCE BY MAY 12TH. (if paperwork is not received in advance, dancers may not attend tryouts).

Required Physical - Complete a valid physical and send/email/fax proof of physical.
Any prospective student-athlete (high school, two- or four-year transfer) and/or enrolled student who wishes to try out MUST present a physical prior to participation. The physical needs to be administered within six months preceding the tryout, except if the individual is providing a tryout used for competition in the current academic year. For example, if you dance for your high school team, but your last physical was completed in July 2018, we can use that physical because your current school used that documentation for your eligibility in the current academic year.
