LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's golf team participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
The Knights went shopping for their angel, buying clothes, shoes and a scooter as Christmas gifts. The Salvation Army Angel Tree puts clothes and toys under the Christmas tree for thousands of children who would otherwise go without Christmas gifts.
This was the second year in a row that the team was involved in the program.
"It's a great way to make a difference in the lives of children in the community," Knights senior
Bailey Wiegandt said.
