LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Bellarmine University was one of just 99 schools nationally to earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's "Team Academic Award" for  both the men's and women's teams.

The NSCAA gives the award to teams posting a 3.0 grade point average or higher.  This award is open to all NCAA Division I, II, III schools as well as NAIA schools. Bellarmine's soccer teams have accomplished the feat three years in a row.

Bellarmine was the only school in Kentucky to have both men's and women's teams receive the honor. Overall, 331 women's teams and 143 men's team's were honored for this award.
