LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The No. 16 Bellarmine University women's soccer team suffered their season's first setback, falling 1-0 to Wisconsin-Parkside in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.
In a game that was statistically very even, the Rangers scored off a corner kick in the game's early going and made that hold up for the victory. The scoring play came just 7:12 into the contest when Parkside's Emily Konior scored on a header after Madison Pickett sent the ball in on the corner kick.
For the game, Parkside held a slim 12-11 shot advantage on the Knights, but the home team had the edge in corners 6-5.

Amy Kunowski picked up four saves, but UWP's Cassie Glodowski got credit for the shutout while making three saves.
The Knights fall to 8-1-1 overall with a 7-1 mark in league play. Wisconsin-Parkside improves to 6-2 (6-2 GLVC).
Bellarmine hits the road for their next four contests, beginning on Friday with a game at the University of Indianapolis.
